Chapter 34: Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event—Team Battle, Part 1

The battle intensifies as both the Tokyo and Kyoto teams engage in fierce combat. The forest is filled with the sounds of curses being exorcised and students clashing in heated exchanges. Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki move through the dense foliage, their senses heightened as they anticipate the next attack.

Yuji is the first to encounter an enemy—a Kyoto student wielding a cursed sword. The two engage in a fast-paced duel, the clash of steel against steel ringing through the trees. Yuji’s strength and agility are on full display as he dodges and parries, his eyes focused on finding an opening. With a burst of speed, he disarms his opponent, knocking the sword from their hand with a well-placed strike.

Meanwhile, Megumi faces off against Kamo Noritoshi, a skilled archer from the Kyoto team. Kamo’s arrows, infused with cursed energy, streak through the air with deadly precision. Megumi uses his shikigami to intercept the arrows, but Kamo’s relentless barrage keeps him on the defensive. Megumi quickly realizes that he needs to close the distance, summoning his Divine Dogs to flank Kamo as he advances.

Nobara finds herself in a battle of wits against Momo Nishimiya, a Kyoto student with the ability to fly and manipulate cursed energy from a distance. Momo taunts Nobara from above, sending waves of cursed energy crashing down on her. But Nobara, ever resourceful, uses her hammer and nails to create a cursed energy barrier, blocking the attacks and forcing Momo to rethink her strategy.

As the battle rages on, the Tokyo team finds themselves pushed to their limits. The Kyoto students are formidable opponents, each one skilled in their own right. But Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara refuse to back down, their determination only growing stronger with each passing moment. They know that this is more than just a competition—it’s a test of their strength, their resolve, and their bond as a team.
